Why choose out of pocket vs insurance?
Paying out of pocket for therapy can have several benefits compared to relying on insurance coverage. It provides choice of therapy as insurance plans have a limited network of providers, and your options ay be restricted. When you pay privately, you have the freedom to choose any therapist who meets your specific needs. Eliminating insurance as the middle man, there is more flexibility and customizations as they can limit the number of sessions or duration of therapy. With paying out of pocket, you and your therapist can determine frequency and length of sessions that best suit your progress and needs, leading to a more individualized and comprehensive treatment plan.
Elevate is a private practice that accepts payment on a fee-for-service basis. Since we have no connections to any insurance providers, we are regarded as being out-of-network. Your insurance provider will be charged an hourly rate of $190, prorated to the length of completion, for any reports or progress updates necessary for reimbursement of services.
Elevate can offer a Superbill, which is a coded receipt, so that YOU can submit it to your insurance provider for payment. This enables family’s to receive reimbursement from their insurance. This is not a guarantee; everything is subject to their perks and insurance plan. Clients will remain to get services on a private pay basis; clients will pay Elevate and attempt to be reimbursed for their costs from their insurance provider.
Elevate does not act as your representative with your insurance provider or as a spokesman for service reimbursement.
